Here is a few pics of my 2008 Buck.

He is a beauty buck. Now we have to get the story behind this nice trophy.

I seen this buck on several occasions with no shot offered. I passed on some nice bucks [not as nice as this one] I started kicking myself in the butt as time was running out for 08 deer hunting.I almost took a smaller Buck but I stuck to my plan [very hard to do as I love my venison] I woke up on the last day of hunting, [Bow season] look out the window and as confirmed by the noise on the metal roof its pouring down rain, hard enough that seeing was going to be difficult and I was for sure going to get very wet so I thought about not going out for about a nanosecond grabed my gear and went out the door. I was thinking fork, doe or monster the first deer to step out was going to get stuck with a bolt from my xcalibur compound crossbow. I went to where I figured my best chance to see a deer was and set up. the rain continued for over 4 hours then stopped as there was snow on the ground, a fog formed so thick that you could hardly see, the day was stretching out and it started to rain a bit more the day is almost over now and  I am cursing my decision to take this buck I had seen and wanted, why? why didn't I shoot a deer when I had the chance  now I am going to have to beg or borrow some venison off of my friends this is all racing around in my head when I see some movment can it be a deer [its still darned foggy] yes its a deer and its the deer I want comming right at me with its head down it comes to 16 yards stops turns broadside and looks back,my heart is pounding and I am shaking like a leaf in a wind storm I calm down and I let fly with a bolt and its a good shot top of both lungs along with the arteries he went about 15 yards and dropped I knew he was done but I waited for 15 mins anyway just to be sure, I walked up to him and wow what a deer my best to date. I could hardly fit into my suv my grin was so big. The best thing about it is I saw the land owner on the way out and showed him the buck he said it was nice but it was one of the smaller ones that he had been seeing and I should come back next year to try for a bigger one, I left there feeling like a and yes I will tell you where the place is, its just outside of town, you pull into the driveway with the pickup beside the maple tree with a crow in it.
