I    my pop ups and ground blinds one thing I can say for you to do is  get is a swivel office chair with arm rests, as nice as you can afford, these chairs allow you to turn silently and are very comfy and that makes it easy to stay in the blind longer. they start at about 20.00 look for scratch and dent sales at office supply stores. Of course you covered the blind with material that is growing around the blind area naturaly. I also have some jugs such as a javex bottle so you can urinate without leaving the blind. A small propane heater also comes in handy I have not noticed that the sound of it bothers deer.[keep it away from you and other flamables. ] hope this helps a bit.

I think its because the sound is constant and already being made [the sound] when the deer come into range of the sound, also the deer may think its wind.

I always wondered about the smell the propane heater gives off.  Thought that might spook the deer.

You are what you eat.  What would you rather be, a beast or a vegetable?

While I have never shot a trophy when useing a heater, I have taken does and smaller bucks, they did not seem to notice the smell.

That is good to know.  I might just have to try it out this fall.
