Ive been out and have seen some deer but nothing close enough for a shot!
I think the best hunting is yet to come!
The weather isnt very good yet and things will pickup once the rut begins!

I've been out steady since last Saturday. Seen two does bed down  40 yards in front of me one evening, no shot, and that's been it. Hoping for better luck this weekend.

Went out a couple of times in October but never saw a thing. Same thing this past week of the controlled hunt. It's been frustrating. But I still have a few more days planned so I'll keep hoping. And despite the no show, being in the woods has been fun.

Haven't hunted yet but next week I'll be at it full time.  The weather is suppose to be sunny and cool but not cold.  Should be perfect for the rut.  I'll post when I get back and hopefully with pics.

I have seen lots of deer does, small bucks, fawns and a nice buck that I took, since the wife had a buck tag and she was out with me, I used her tag so I can use mine for bow and if that doesn't pan out then I will use it for the Dec shotgun.
