Well, we were in our blind at 4:30 AM. A hen came out of the wood lot I had been watching at the fencerow my buddy had our blind set up on. She went right by the decoys (out of range) and walked off out of site... Then a couple of hours later 9 more hens and three jakes appeared from the same area and did the same. They held out in the sun in the distance and we called it quits at about 10:00. Regardless of the no-harvest it was a great morning and well worth the drive to Pefferlaw.

Sounds like you had a lot of fun. Hopefully you get another hunt in before end of season.
