After many years of declining waterfowl permit sales, they recorded a big increase in 2008. It's amazing looking at the graph, how much duck hunting has declined since 1978.

Things are looking better, a lot of the decrease is said to be from loss of hunting areas as more and more cottages and developments go up. Bleeders complain and hunting is shut down.

In our area it is the city people moving to the country and then whining about the traditional land uses (hunting being one of them).
