It was a great day to get out and do one last session of target practise with the Excal before the opener. The bow is on the money and I am ready for action. I have checked the bow over and all screws are tight and lubed up. We are expecting rain for the next couple of days and I just have to get some anti- fog spray for my optics. Best of luck to everyone and hunt safe.

I did the same the other day ist shot with a muzzy practice head  right on target, second shot with a muzzy broad head 1 inch high and 6 inches left after a few more shots I confirmed that my bow was shooting about an inch high and 6 inches to the left at 30 ydssmile/eek.gif So I  adjusted my scope to shoot down and to the right. next shot the bolt was down but still left, more adjustments, still shooting left, more adjustments , doesn't seem to move the point of impact, more shooting and adjustments, no better, ran out of adjustment. still 6" to the left  I think my scope is bad, will replace with new. At least the bow shoots consistant  groups so I am sure the scope is internally foobard. It pays to check out your gear,

Is that a Vari-Zone scope Big Guy ? How old is it ? Do you think it was damaged or defective ? Check with Peter at Excalibur crossbow,he might be able to help you out for warranty.

No its an old tasco been on the bow for at least 10 years and on a few guns before that. Not worth attempting to get it repaired. time for a new one. I think the internal adjustment is broken. I can only adjust up or down no left or right.
