This can be used on any game bird.
4 partridge
1/4 cup melted butter.
salt and pepper.
1 pkg of frozen raspberrys.
1/2 cup of water.
1/2 cup sugar.
juice of 1/2 lemon.
2 ozs  of a berry brandy or raspberry liqueur.
cornstarch and water to make thick paste.
brush birds with melted butter and salt and pepper to taste.place in a well greased baking dish.cover tightly and bake in a 375 degree oven for about45-50 mins. remove from oven and brush with glaze[see below]reduce heat to 300 degrees and return to oven for about 5-10 mins repeat last two steps until well glazed.
GLAZE: Thaw raspberrys.add water, lemon juice, brandy or liqueur.Heat until bubbling thicken with cornstarch paste.enjoy.
