these are great with soup or stew.
1 yeast cake[or packet]
1/2 cup warm water.
1 cup potato flakes.
1/2 cup sugar.
1 tsp salt.
3/4 cup lard or shortening.
1 cup scalded milk.
2 eggs slightly beaten.
Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.Combine remaining ingrediants and add yeast mixture then mix into soft dough and set in cool place to rise until light.roll out to 3/4 inch thick and cut with biscuit cutter or use a small glass. bake at 375 until golden brown. enjoy.
