Kinda hard to hide a poached moose eh? I woulda waited til the guy had it skinned so it would be easier to load up and haul away in small white packages

Is poaching a big problem in Canada?

Yes it's a big problem in Ontario and right across Canada. In Ontario a lot goes on undetected and police enforcement is weak because of many years of under funding and budget cuts.

Yes funding for the M.N.R.is a big problem here in Ontario there are a few poachers right close to me, they are in for a surprize as I am getting together with the local M.N.R. to catch these guys and this fall I have a lot of time to spare and we have a plan.

Good luck on your hunt.  I hope you catch them and they are dealt with harshly.  Poachers give all ethical and legal hunters a black eye.
