Forum member : mooseer ( Mike )


I just received an email this morning from mooseer who I came to know on another forum. He lives with his family in a rual area east of Port Perry in the small hamlet of Yelverton. He just retired last year from GM and was looking forward to hunting moose up north with his son this year.
 On June 30, while away on vacation with his family, their house was hit by lighting and with no one home to notice it caught fire and they lost just about everything. They are presently living in a trailer, awaiting to rebuild. He lost all his hunting equipment too. He says the local people in the area have been fantastic, rallying together to help them get their lives back on track.
  I just hope his insurance company can fast track the process so that the contruction of a new home can get underway soon. He will keep us posted.

I hope they're ok and their life goes back to normal soon... They're in my prayers.
