Must not be alot of shotgun hunters here,, not much posting going on this week,,, or the guys are too busy pulling deer out of the woods to post,, Any updates on this weeks Ontario shotgun hunt??,,,Frank

I'm sure there are some deer being harvested, but in my neck of the woods I hadn't heard much shooting going on for the three days I hunted. We missed all our deer unfortunately It is just too warm for deer to be moving around during the day. They are staying put and only moving in the early morning and night. Too bad though, I wanted to see how well my new spot would do, but with the warm temps, only one buck came through. When you gotta take your boots off and hunt only in your base layer, it can't be good  

Tough week for the gun hunters for sure. Sorry about your luck there Swamp Buck. Cold front coming through now - Friday night. Archery begins again tomorrow and I'll be back in the tree stand waiting for a buck.
