I have one from A.P.I. its works great but all the pop ups are supposed to be good. The thing to look for is all one piece with easy setup and take down what you can afford is where you should look for one. I can tell you that I was looking at a double bull blind and trying to get help from the company and the distributor was double bull. I even have a chair style popup that came from C.T. it also works well the thing I like is the weather proofing they give I stay dry when its snowing or raining and it keeps the wind off . so make sure the one you get is water repellent. ![]()

I forgot to tell you that you should put up and take down the blind in the dark a few times useing what ever light you plan on takeing to the field with you. I failed to do this the first time it was totaly different in the dark of early morning than my room with the ceiling lights. ![]() ![]()

Thanks Final. I was kind of looking at the dog house blind which I think is from API. A friend of mine has the one man teepee style one but he says it is noisy to get into and the wind on it makes a racket(not good). Mind you he did get a lot of shooting chances out of it. Only the deer weren't of the size he wanted. I still have time to scout around and then get familiarized with one.

The Doghouse Blind is made by Ameristep. The new model spring steel blind pops open in one easy step. |

Final, you are right the price is right compared with other brands and they come on sale fairly often at fantastic savings. My buddy paid $19.95 for his one man blind across the river in the States.
