I received permission to hunt some new hunting land today and spotted 5 toms strutting in a field across from where I have permission to hunt. Nice birds with good size to them with a dominate bird strutting by himself. I will do some more scouting tomorrow.

Good luck with the lone tom... I've noticed flocks as far south as Vaughan, Ontario. I'll be hunting in Pefferlaw however. It's all I think about.

Thanks Mike, the weather and hunting pressure has changed bird patterns( no luck so far )  but I will give it another try in the rain this weekend. Good luck out in good old Pefferlaw, I use to work in construction out that way, nice whitetail country too ah !

One of my hunting partner's father took a 20+ bird today at Base Borden,, I'll try and get a pic,,Frank

   We where out on Sunday and seen 6 Toms.None close enough to shoot with my longbow.Hopefully next weekend they will come closer.

That should be amazing to see one taken with a longbow. Keep us posted!

Good luck I'm tagged out for the year, oops I forgot we are going to have a fall season  I think I'll use my ML shot gun if I can find the time, thats prime bow season too.

Tagged out already ! Congrats on a great spring turkey season. I experienced the tag out in 05 in my first year hunting the elusive birds. What a great feeling of accomplishment it was.
